Kayuputi
The St. Regis Bali Resort's beachfront fine-dining room, known for its wine list.
White wood by the sea
Kayuputi means ‘white wood’ in Indonesian, and the restaurant is the fine-dining centrepiece of The St. Regis Bali Resort in Nusa Dua, with a dining room that looks over the beach. Executive chef Agung Gede leads a menu of Asian-inspired haute cuisine built on classic Western technique.
The Honeycombers points to the coral trout carpaccio, the Wagyu beef, seafood linguine and the yuzu soufflé, and notes a Sunday brunch that begins in the white bar. The restaurant is also known for its wine list, which the same guide says has won the Wine Spectator Award for 16 years. Smart-casual dress is expected.
Menus change from season to season, so the dishes here are examples rather than a fixed list.
