Xin Rong Ji (Hangzhou)
Taizhou classics in a garden inside Xixi National Wetland Park; one Michelin star.
Taizhou cooking in the wetlands
Xin Rong Ji’s Hangzhou restaurant sits in a garden in the west of Xixi National Wetland Park, outside the city centre of Hangzhou, and holds one Michelin star in the MICHELIN Guide Shanghai Jiangsu Zhejiang 2026. The Michelin inspectors write that the lush surroundings, understated decor and quality food make the trip worthwhile.
Taizhou classics such as deep-fried hairtail and braised giant yellow croaker are the must-orders. The kitchen is also well versed in Hangzhou cooking, including soft, chewy braised pork intestine with a dash of spice.
