Jungsik helped introduce the idea of New Korean cuisine to an international audience, and its Seoul restaurant remains a benchmark. The cooking is playful and technically assured, reinterpreting familiar Korean flavours through contemporary techniques.
It is a polished, confident restaurant and a good counterpoint to the more fermentation-driven approach found elsewhere in the city.

Tasting menus reinterpret Korean staples, from gimbap and bibimbap to grilled meats, in modern form, with seasonal changes. Menus evolve regularly and are best confirmed when booking.
