Wild Yeast
Taizhou seafood around an open kitchen in Binjiang, with a Burgundy-heavy wine list; one Michelin star.
Taizhou seafood and a Burgundy cellar
Wild Yeast is on the third floor of Zonia Tide Ginza on Binsheng Road in Binjiang, Hangzhou, and holds one Michelin star in the MICHELIN Guide Shanghai Jiangsu Zhejiang 2026. Every table in the softly lit room looks onto the open kitchen.
The head chef, from Taizhou, built the set and à la carte menus around the natural flavours of seafood shipped from his hometown. Yellow croaker braised in fish stock is the famous dish, and in autumn the Michelin inspectors suggest fried crab in curry sa cha sauce over pan-fried rice cake. The wine list runs to thousands of labels, mostly from Burgundy.
