Jie Xiang Lou
A monthly-changing Zhejiang menu in a bamboo forest at Seven Villas; two Michelin stars.
The Restaurant
Jie Xiang Lou is tucked deep in a bamboo forest at Seven Villas. The Michelin Guide’s inspectors say serenity is the word that comes to mind, and the kitchen highlights the flavours and terroir of Zhejiang, balancing tradition with creativity.
The seasonal menu changes monthly. Two dishes are named: Mrs Song’s fish stew, made with delicate, sweet yellow croakers, and candied lotus root stuffed with sticky rice for dessert.
Good to Know
The restaurant holds two Michelin stars in the 2026 guide. The listing shows a car park and an interesting wine list. See Hangzhou for the wider picture.
