Ru Yuan
Refined Zhejiang cooking among lush vegetation, known for its pagoda-shaped braised pork; two Michelin stars.
The Restaurant
Ru Yuan sits amid lush vegetation on Yuquan Road, and its menu is made of familiar Zhejiang dishes refined in detail. The Michelin Guide names Xihu fish in vinegar sauce and sautéed shrimp with Longjing tea leaves, and says the chef’s personal style is evident in the execution.
The gold-medal braised pork has winey aromas, and its thinly sliced meat is shaped into a pagoda for texture and presentation.
