Sichuan cooking, with a collector’s room
Silver Pot is a Sichuan restaurant in Wuhou, and its spacious dining room is filled with the owner’s souvenirs from her travels, giving it what the inspectors call a quirky feel. She sources quality ingredients from around the world and cooks them in an authentic Sichuan style. It holds one Michelin star.
The inspectors call the roast pigeon smoked with Sichuan pepper leaves simply unmissable, and praise cold starters such as lamp-shadow sliced grass carp. Some dishes are available in half portions, which makes it easier to taste widely.
