Royal Beijing cooking, reinterpreted
Jingji is on the second floor of The Ritz-Carlton on Jianguo Road in Chaoyang, and holds two Michelin stars in the 2026 guide. The name combines ‘Beijing’ with ‘Yueji’, the city’s official flower, and the restaurant reinterprets traditional royal cuisine.
The two set menus in the main dining room focus on dried seafood, mushrooms and vegetables. The inspectors recommend braised fish maw with a firm texture in a flavourful broth, and guests who book a private room can customise the menu, with pan-fried chive pockets and stir-fried flatbread strips with cured lamb suggested.
The restaurant is listed as good for groups. Menus change, so confirm what is being served.
