Fu Rong
A Hunan restaurant from the Xin Rong Ji group at The Westin Beijing, one star.
Hunan cooking, from a Taizhou-rooted group
Fu Rong, named after Hunan’s provincial flower, is on the first floor of The Westin on Jinrong Street in Xicheng and belongs to the Xin Rong Ji group. It holds one Michelin star in the 2026 guide.
The inspectors note a few Hunan dishes: steamed fish head with chopped chilli, pork tripe soup with pickled radish cooked in a charcoal-heated casserole, and softshell turtle steamed with yellow chilli or red-braised. The smaller horse-hoof variety of turtle suits two people.
The restaurant is listed as good for family gatherings. Menus change, so confirm what is being served.
