Lu Shang Lu
Confucian-rooted Shandong cooking with live Jiaodong seafood in Chaoyang; two Michelin stars.
Shandong cooking, Confucian in spirit
Lu Shang Lu is a Shandong restaurant on the second floor of Sunshine Financial Center in Chaoyang, Beijing, and holds two Michelin stars in the MICHELIN Guide Beijing 2026. The Michelin inspectors describe Confucian cooking, sea cucumber and live seafood shipped daily from the Jiaodong peninsula, by a chef from Yantai.
The dish they single out is a 45-day-old roast duck served with caviar, prawn crackers and Shandong pancakes, a mix of Beijing and Shandong cuisines. The well-curated wine list gives Shandong wines a prominent place.
