Lamdre
A plant-based seasonal menu in Chaoyang, promoted to two Michelin stars in 2026.
Vegetables, treated seriously
Lamdre is a plant-based restaurant on Gongti North Road in Chaoyang, Beijing, promoted to two Michelin stars in the MICHELIN Guide Beijing 2026. The Michelin inspectors describe veteran chef Dai as an inquisitive cook who spent time in Japan studying plant-based ingredients.
The menu follows the seasons and may include the chef’s signature “porcini, green pepper and sea salt”, in which Yunnan mushrooms are chargrilled for smoky aromas. Wine and tea pairings are offered. A skylight in the pitched roof lights the main room, while the private rooms and a balcony are more intimate.
