Why we recommend it
Bulgari Hotel Tokyo opened on 4 April 2023 on the 40th to 45th floors of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, overlooking Tokyo Station, with views towards the Imperial Palace gardens and, on clear days, Mount Fuji. It is the eighth property in the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts collection.
The 98 rooms and suites are furnished with Italian brands including Maxalto, Flexform and B&B Italia, and the Bulgari Suite covers 400 square metres.
Dining
Dining pairs two chefs with three Michelin stars. Il Ristorante – Niko Romito seats 80 and serves the Italian chef’s contemporary menu, while Sushi Hōseki, an eight-seat counter of a single piece of hinoki overlooking a private rock garden, is led by Kenji Gyoten. Bulgari Dolci sells chocolates and Italian pastries, and the Bulgari Bar on the 45th floor has a handmade mosaic counter and terraces planted with citrus trees.
Wellness & Spa
The 1,000-square-metre spa has nine treatment rooms, a spa suite and a 25-metre indoor pool, with Augustinus Bader treatments on the menu.
