ONVIT
Vietnam's first Michelin-starred Korean restaurant, a Korean–Vietnamese tasting menu in Hanoi.
Korean heritage, Vietnamese ingredients
ONVIT is a Korean–Vietnamese tasting-menu restaurant inside the Grand Plaza Hanoi Hotel, and it received its first Michelin star in 2026, the first Korean restaurant in Vietnam to be so recognised. The name comes from a Korean word meaning warm light.
The menu draws on the heritage of chef Joon Huk Chi and is made mostly with Vietnamese ingredients, with a particular focus on duck. Its sommelier, Ngọc Bích Mai, won the 2026 Sommelier Award. Michelin describes a tranquil setting.
Tasting menus change, so confirm what is being served.
