Xới Cơm
Northern Vietnamese home cooking in a 1980s-style room off Láng Hạ Street, a Bib Gourmand.
Hanoi home cooking, 1990s style
Xới Cơm serves what the Michelin inspectors call authentic Northern Vietnamese home cooking in a cosy room whose vintage interior is reminiscent of Hanoi houses in the 1980s and 1990s. It is in a lane off Láng Hạ Street and holds a Bib Gourmand in the 2026 Michelin Guide Vietnam.
The menu changes daily; the inspectors give stir-fried water spinach with garlic and deep-fried tofu with green onion as examples. Staff can explain the menu in simple English. Seating is limited, and the restaurant is often busy at mealtimes, so booking ahead is recommended.
It sits in the lowest price tier of the guide, and does not accept credit cards.
