Phở Bò Lâm
A small morning-only beef pho stall on Hàng Vải Street, known for heel-muscle beef.
Beef pho for the early riser
Phở Bò Lâm, called Phở Lâm in some guides, is a small stall on Hàng Vải Street in Hoàn Kiếm and a Michelin Bib Gourmand. It serves phở with heel muscle beef, which has a crunchy texture, in a broth that is flavourful but not greasy.
The stall opens at 6 am and closes by 9 am, and it usually sells out around 8:30 to 9. The space is small and gets crowded, so arriving early is advised. A bowl cost about 50,000 dong in a recent guide.
