Five Foot Road
Chengdu-Sichuan cooking inspired by early 20th-century banquets, at MGM Cotai.
Chengdu banquets in Cotai
Five Foot Road is a homegrown brand of MGM Cotai and earned one Michelin star in the 2023 Hong Kong and Macau guide. Its name refers to the five-foot-wide merchant carts that travelled the Southern Silk Road during the Han dynasty.
Chef de cuisine Yang Dengquan is recognised for his command of Chengdu-Sichuan cooking, and the kitchen sources ingredients exclusively from Sichuan province. A signature is sweetened wok-fried glutinous rice with pork belly, and a Michelin Star Discovery menu presents a selection of signature dishes.
The décor aims to evoke the exclusivity and grandeur of early 20th-century Sichuan banquets and soirées in Chengdu. Menus change, so confirm what is being served.
