Don Alfonso 1890
The first Asian branch of the Iaccarino family's Don Alfonso, at Grand Lisboa Palace.
Sorrento to Cotai
Don Alfonso 1890 is the first Asian branch of the restaurant from Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, founded in 1890 and run by the Iaccarino family for four generations. In Macau it sits in Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau and entered the Michelin guide with a star in 2026.
Head chef Federico Pucci cooks the flavours of the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, developing the menu with Ernesto Iaccarino, the fourth-generation chef of the flagship. The team could not replicate the Italian restaurant exactly because ingredients differ, so they adapted classic southern Italian dishes to high-quality local produce. Dishes from guest-chef events have included Brittany blue lobster, lemon-scented tagliolini with red prawns and burrata, and a tiramisu.
The room has handcrafted terrazzo flooring and Baroque patterns, with Rosenthal x Versace tableware in red and gold. Menus change, so check current dishes.
