French haute cuisine inside a Hadid tower
Alain Ducasse at Morpheus is on the third floor of Morpheus, the Zaha Hadid tower at City of Dreams, and it earned two Michelin stars a few months after opening. The restaurant serves French haute cuisine, and its chef’s table experiments with dishes inspired by Macao.
The interiors are by Jouin Manku: blown glass installations by Lasvit hang from the ceiling, three dining suites are screened with glass, and the tables give off a faint moonlight glow. The chef’s table is reached through a hidden door and a wine cellar modelled on French wine merchants, and a glass partition near the ovens can turn opaque.
The sources consulted do not name a head chef or dishes, so menus should be confirmed with the restaurant.
