Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic opened in Hong Kong in November 2023, in collaboration with Baccarat and Leading Nation, overlooking the bay. It is Pic’s second restaurant in Asia. It was promoted to two Michelin stars in the 2026 Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau, announced on 19 March 2026.
The food and the room
Anne-Sophie Pic and head chef Marc Mantovani serve refined French cuisine with subtle Asian influences, as a tasting menu or à la carte. Dishes named by the house include Berlingots ASP, Matsutake from Yunnan, abalone, Breton lobster flambéed with cognac, and the signature dessert Millefeuille Blanc. The design is by Gilles & Boissier, with an open kitchen and Baccarat chandeliers.
Why it matters
It is one of the few openings of recent years to reach two stars quickly, and it brings a three-star French name to Hong Kong alongside Caprice. OKYTO recommends it for a design-led French dinner.
