Cai Rang Floating Market

Cai Rang is the largest floating market of its type in the Mekong Delta, about five kilometres from downtown Can Tho. Wholesale traders buy fruit and vegetables here from a fleet of boats, with large boats displaying samples on bamboo poles and smaller ones selling from their hulls. The market stirs to life at dawn, and some vendors also sell cooked food, bánh mì and drinks. Rough Guides included it among 19 must-visit food hubs worldwide.
