Four Seasons Guangzhou Unveils a New Sky-High Atrium
A redesigned atrium brings a new architectural focal point to Four Seasons Guangzhou.
Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou has unveiled a newly transformed atrium, refreshing one of the defining interior spaces of the high-rise hotel in Guangzhou’s Zhujiang New Town.
Announced on September 25, 2026, the project gives fresh emphasis to the hotel’s dramatic vertical setting. Four Seasons occupies the upper floors of the 103-storey Guangzhou Finance Center, and the atrium has long been central to the sense of arrival, opening the interior towards the skyline rather than treating the property as a conventional tower hotel.
A renewed architectural centrepiece
The redesign is significant for a property where architecture is inseparable from the guest experience. Instead of adding a separate new facility, the intervention reworks a major shared space, reinforcing the visual connection between the hotel’s interiors and its elevated position above Guangzhou.
The update also arrives as luxury hotels across major Asian cities increasingly reinvest in existing landmark properties rather than relying only on new openings. For travellers, these renovations can materially change the experience of established hotels while preserving their location, service infrastructure and identity.
Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou remains one of the city’s most distinctive luxury addresses, with its upper-floor setting providing extensive views across the Pearl River Delta metropolis.
