Park Hyatt Opens in Shenzhen, in the Tower Beside Ping An Finance Centre

Park Hyatt Shenzhen opened in late July 2019 in the top 48 floors of a tower beside the 115-storey Ping An Finance Centre, with 195 rooms and a rooftop bar.

Park Hyatt Shenzhen opened in late July 2019 in the Futian central business district. It occupies the top 48 storeys of a tower next to the 115-storey Ping An International Finance Centre, and is described as a glass-and-steel butterfly with its wings spread against the skyline.

The 195 rooms and suites are on levels 36 to 44 and range from 48 to 299 square metres. They have floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary Chinese details, lantern-style pendant lights, and a minibar styled as a modern Chinese cabinet.

Dining is stacked up the tower. The Living Room on level 33 serves afternoon tea and evening drinks. The Garden Pavilion, on the same floor, serves Cantonese, Sichuan and Jiangnan cooking and has four private dining suites. The Glasshouse, on level 47, serves European cooking with a Chinese influence, and The Attic, on level 48, is a rooftop penthouse bar. The hotel also has more than 1,500 square metres of event space, including a 500-square-metre ballroom, a fitness centre, a spa and a 25-metre indoor pool with poolside dining, and links directly to the metro and Futian railway station.

Hyatt’s other Shenzhen address, Andaz Shenzhen Bay, was designed by Tony Chi.
