Pan Pacific Orchard opened its doors on 1 June 2023 at 10 Claymore Road, just off Singapore’s Orchard Road. Designed by WOHA Architects, the 23-storey hotel has 347 rooms and suites and is presented by Pan Pacific Hotels Group as its new flagship.

The tower is organised around four open-air terraces, each with its own landscape theme: the Forest Terrace, Beach Terrace, Garden Terrace and Cloud Terrace. The hotel’s pools sit on the Beach Terrace, while the rooms range up to balcony categories overlooking the city.

Planting is central to the design. The building’s green plot ratio exceeds 200 per cent of its land area, and it combines solar panels, rainwater harvesting and a bio-digester that turns food waste into water used for cleaning. The project holds BCA Green Mark Platinum certification.

The signature restaurant, Mosella, serves Mediterranean cuisine with a Peruvian twist under executive chef Pedro Samper, alongside Florette, a champagne and oyster bar. The hotel also worked with Tanglin Gin on its own Singapore’s Orchard Gin. Other facilities include a St. Gregory spa, the 130-seat Pacific Club Lounge and the pillarless, 600-square-metre Claymore Ballroom on the 18th floor.

“With the launch of Pan Pacific Orchard beautifully designed by WOHA, Pan Pacific Hotels Group is making our mark in Singapore’s luxury hospitality segment,” said chief executive Choe Peng Sum. Opening rates started from SGD 460++ per night, according to the release. The full opening announcement is on the group’s newsroom.
