Ưu Đàm
A calm vegetarian restaurant on Nguyễn Du Street with Vietnamese, Western and Thai influences; Bib Gourmand.
Vegetarian cooking with a Zen calm
Ưu Đàm is a vegetarian restaurant at 55 Nguyễn Du Street in Cửa Nam, Hanoi, and holds a Bib Gourmand in the MICHELIN Guide Vietnam 2026. Buddhist art and statues give the room a calm, Zen atmosphere.
The menu combines Vietnamese, Western and Thai influences, rooted in tradition and mindful of nutritional balance. The Michelin inspectors single out stir-fried mushrooms and tofu with a crisp girdle cake, mildly spicy with layered flavour, and juice-based cocktails. Việt Nam News reported that owner Đỗ Thu Hà, who has run the restaurant since 2015, prefers to let vegetables stand on their own rather than imitate meat.
