MÀU
A gastro wine bar opposite the Temple of Literature with a modern Vietnamese-leaning menu.
A wine bar facing the Temple of Literature
MÀU, Vietnamese for colours, is a gastro wine bar at 5 Văn Miếu Street, across from the Temple of Literature in Hanoi, and is listed in the Selected category of the MICHELIN Guide Vietnam 2026. The Michelin inspectors describe a warm, sociable room in which counter seats facing the bar give the most immersive view of service and kitchen.
Guests choose between à la carte dishes and a chef’s menu, both modern in style with Asian and subtle Vietnamese notes, and the staff help with the wine list. When Việt Nam News reviewed it in December 2025, dishes included pumpkin soup finished with dashi and a passion fruit brûlée.
