Spring Moon
Cantonese dining at The Peninsula Hong Kong since 1986, one Michelin star in 2026.
Spring Moon is the Cantonese restaurant of The Peninsula Hong Kong, first opened in 1986. It retained its Michelin star in the 2026 Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau and has kept it for ten consecutive years. Lam Yuk Ming is Chinese cuisine executive chef.
The room
The décor is inspired by a 1920s Shanghainese mansion, with dark wood, oriental rugs and Art Deco touches. In 2001 it became the first restaurant in Hong Kong to introduce a Chinese Chef’s Table.
Why it matters
Spring Moon is one of the long-running hotel Cantonese rooms in the city and sits next to Gaddi’s at the same hotel. OKYTO recommends it for Cantonese dining in period surroundings on the Kowloon waterfront.
