The St. Regis Hong Kong Launches a Limited Sparkling Tea with Mindful Sparks
Mindful Sparks and artist Elsa Ngai create a sparkling tea for Hong Kong Art Month.
The St. Regis Hong Kong has created a limited-edition sparkling tea with Mindful Sparks, a Hong Kong premium sparkling tea brand, and local artist Elsa Ngai.
The project was announced on March 23, 2026 as part of Art of Arrival, a cultural programme launched by Marriott International’s Luxury Group to coincide with Hong Kong Art Month.
A fragrance translated into a drink
The tea takes its inspiration from Caroline’s Four Hundred, the signature St. Regis fragrance, and its tasting notes are echoed in a bespoke bottle decorated with Elsa Ngai’s artwork. Her illustration reflects both the energy of the city and the character of the Wan Chai hotel.
The St. Regis Hong Kong also hosted the private presentation of a new work by Chinese artist Chen Zuo, created during a residency at The Ritz-Carlton, Suzhou and later shown at Art Basel. Taken together, the initiatives show how hotels are using Art Month to position themselves as cultural venues, and how small local brands can gain reach by joining those programmes.
