The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong Receives Two Michelin Keys
The Hong Kong hotel receives Two Michelin Keys after an extensive refresh.
The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong has been awarded Two Michelin Keys in the 2026 Michelin Guide hotel selection.
Mandarin Oriental announced the recognition on September 22, adding another hospitality distinction to a property that has recently undergone a substantial evolution of its rooms, arrival experience, restaurants and wellness offer.
Recognition after a major refresh
The hotel’s 109 rooms and suites have been reimagined by Hong Kong designer Joyce Wang, while its culinary programme has expanded with new concepts including Blanc de Noirs, a champagne-focused cocktail bar, and The Communal coffee concept.
The Michelin Key system evaluates hotels rather than restaurants and is intended to recognise properties that deliver particularly distinctive stays. For Hong Kong, the award arrives amid renewed investment across several of the city’s established luxury hotels.
The Landmark Mandarin Oriental remains closely integrated with Central and the LANDMARK complex, positioning it differently from Hong Kong’s larger waterfront grand hotels. Its compact scale and food-led identity have increasingly become part of its distinction.
