Why we recommend it
Amanfayun is one of Aman's most atmospheric properties. Its dwellings follow the layout of a traditional village, with stone paths, courtyards and tiled roofs, set in a valley shared with several Buddhist temples. Early mornings, before the temples open to visitors, are especially magical.
Location
The resort is in the hills west of West Lake, close to Lingyin Temple and the Longjing tea plantations, a short drive from the lake shore.
