Ying Jee Club
Two-Michelin-star Cantonese in a Steve Leung-designed Central dining room.
Ying Jee Club is a two-storey, 104-seat Cantonese restaurant in the Nexxus Building on Connaught Road in Central. Executive Chef Siu Hin Chi leads the kitchen, which holds two Michelin stars.
The room
Interior architect Steve Leung and design director Janet Choy gave it an emerald-green backdrop, golden accents and a wooden panel floor. There are four private rooms and a ground-floor cocktail bar.
Why it matters
The menu takes a fresh line on traditional Cantonese dishes, backed by a wine list of more than 300 bottles. It suits business dinners and family tables where the room matters as much as the cooking.
