The Restaurant

Satou is a small, traditional sushi-bar-style restaurant in the middle of Kutchan’s dining precinct. Chef Hirokazu Satou works the counter, his wife runs the kitchen and a single waitress serves the floor. There are about six counter seats, three tables and extra space upstairs.

The menu is sushi and sashimi with a small selection of other Japanese dishes. PowderLife says it was not widely known until Michelin highlighted it.
