Duddell’s
Michelin-starred dim sum and Cantonese in an art-filled Central dining room.
Duddell’s occupies the third and fourth floors of Shanghai Tang Mansion on Duddell Street in Central. It pairs a Michelin-starred Cantonese kitchen with a curated art programme, with shows and screenings staged around the bar.
The food
The menu reworks traditional dim sum and Cantonese dishes. Signature plates include an abalone puff with deep-fried taro, siu mai with pork, shrimp, scallop and fish roe, and crispy skin chicken that the chefs baste with hot oil more than 300 times. Dim sum runs all day, with a weekend brunch.
Why it matters
It is the relaxed, design-led way into Hong Kong Cantonese cooking: sleek interiors, serious technique, and a room that works as well for a drink as for a meal.
