Why we recommend it
No other hotel of this standard is inside the Gion geiko quarter itself. Guests stay on Hanamikoji, beside the theatre where the Miyako Odori is danced each spring, in a building that is itself one of the landmarks of the district.

Location
The hotel is on Hanamikoji in Gion, within the grounds of the Gion Kobu Kaburenjo theatre. Capella Kyoto is in the neighbouring district of Miyagawa-cho.
