Forum
Cantonese restaurant with three Michelin stars in the 2026 Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau.
Forum is a Cantonese restaurant on the first floor of Sino Plaza on Gloucester Road in Causeway Bay. It opened in 1977 and was founded by the late chef Yeung Koon-yat, known in Hong Kong as the “abalone king”. It holds three Michelin stars in the 2026 Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau.
The food
The dish most associated with the house is the braised abalone, served as Ah Yat abalone. Crispy chicken and braised oxtail are also among its signature plates. Adam Wong Lung is executive chef.
Why it matters
Forum is a long-established standalone Cantonese table whose name is tied to one ingredient and one chef. It sits in the three-star bracket with T’ang Court, in contrast with the hotel dining rooms. OKYTO recommends it for the abalone, ideally booked well ahead.
