The Park Lane Hong Kong and SPARKLE by KAREN CHAN Celebrate Local Nostalgia
Local label SPARKLE by KAREN CHAN brings Hong Kong nostalgia to rooms, dining and an exhibition.
The Park Lane Hong Kong has teamed up with local designer label SPARKLE by KAREN CHAN for Living in Fashion, a collaboration that brings Hong Kong’s visual heritage into the Causeway Bay hotel.
Announced on June 18, 2026, the project runs from July 1 to October 4 and combines themed guestrooms, an afternoon tea and a brand exhibition.
Prints that tell the city’s story
Founded by designer Karen Chan, the label is known for original textile prints inspired by Hong Kong sentiment, intangible cultural heritage, art and local culture. Those prints shape the colours, patterns and details of the themed rooms, turning a stay into a quiet encounter with the city through design. At Ebb & Flow, the hotel serves a Hong Kong Nostalgia afternoon tea throughout the collaboration.
The partnership also includes a charitable element: the hotel is donating 80 one-night stays in the themed rooms, each paired with afternoon tea for two. It is a sign of how Hong Kong hotels are increasingly championing homegrown designers, giving local labels a platform with both residents and visitors.
