Amandari is one of the resorts that defined Aman's philosophy. Designed as a Balinese village, with walled suites, thatched roofs and stone pathways, it sits on the edge of the Ayung River gorge, surrounded by rice terraces.
Its green-tiled pool, which seems to flow into the landscape, has become one of the most recognisable images of Bali.
Location
The resort is in Kedewatan, a few minutes from central Ubud, on the rim of the Ayung River valley.
