Why we recommend it
The most radical hotel room in Bali: a roof, a bed, a pool and the forest. Buahan is for travellers who want to sleep in the landscape and are comfortable without glass or air-conditioning. The cooking, developed with the Locavore team, is a reason to stay in for dinner.
Location
Near the village of Buahan Kaja in Payangan, about 40 minutes by car north of central Ubud and around 90 minutes from the airport.
