Pure Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant
A fully vegetarian restaurant on Diecui Lu in Yangshuo, built around a roughly twenty-dish Buddha's Feast.
The Restaurant
Pure Lotus serves no meat at all, which in a town built on beer fish and river snails makes it a useful address for vegetarians. Frommer’s calls it a very reliable dining experience with a calm atmosphere, and the staff understand dietary restrictions.
Recommended dishes there are the almond roll, taro and egg yolk balls and sweet-and-sour eggplant. The Buddha’s Feast, according to Guilin China’s guide, comprises about 20 vegetable and tofu dishes.
