Why we recommend it

It is a real fort, with its palaces and temples, restored with care over more than ten years, and it stands above a living village instead of a resort enclave.

It is also the most comfortable base for Ranthambore National Park, and travellers on the shorter journeys of the Maharajas' Express can stay on here.

Location

In Barwara village, 30 minutes from Ranthambore National Park, a 2.5-hour drive from Jaipur airport and six to seven hours by road from Delhi.
