Hyatt and PCPD unveil luxury villas in Niseko’s Hanazono area.
Pacific Century Premium Developments and Hyatt have unveiled One Hanazono Villas, a new luxury residential project in Niseko’s Hanazono area.
Announced on September 1, 2026, the development extends the hospitality and residential ambitions around one of Japan’s best-known ski destinations. Niseko has become a major market for high-end resort real estate as international travel and investment have reshaped Hokkaido’s winter tourism economy.
Luxury residential growth in Japan’s ski country
The project is positioned within the wider Hanazono landscape, linking private residential accommodation with the destination’s established ski and resort infrastructure.
Branded and hospitality-connected residences have become increasingly important in Asian resort markets, particularly where owners combine personal use with access to hotel-style services. In Niseko, that model is developing alongside a wave of internationally branded hotels and new-build luxury accommodation.
The announcement gives Hyatt and PCPD another role in the continued evolution of Hanazono, while reinforcing Niseko’s position as a year-round luxury destination rather than solely a seasonal ski market.
