Garner Hotel Jim Corbett Joins IHG’s Fast-Growing India Pipeline
A 50-room hotel near Jim Corbett National Park expands Garner’s pipeline in India.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed Garner Hotel Jim Corbett, adding a 50-room property near one of India’s best-known wildlife destinations.
The hotel is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2027 and will be owned by Victorian Corporation and managed by United Hospitality Management India.
International brands move deeper into leisure destinations
Jim Corbett’s tourism economy is strongly tied to Corbett National Park and nature-led leisure travel. The signing shows IHG extending its newer midscale brand beyond major commercial cities into destinations where domestic leisure demand is an important driver.
Garner is IHG’s fastest-scaling brand globally and the Jim Corbett project is its sixth signing in India. Its conversion-friendly model is intended to give owners a relatively flexible route into IHG’s distribution and loyalty ecosystem.
The 2027 opening remains a development target rather than a current operating date.
