Suzhou’s Mediterranean steakhouse
Riva (里瓦地中海扒房) is the steakhouse of InterContinental Suzhou, in Suzhou, and the hotel group describes it as the city’s first Mediterranean-style steakhouse. Its core is charcoal: imported steaks and seafood cooked over the grill.
A full renovation added beef dry-aged in house, French desserts and a curated wine list. When the 2025 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide came out, Riva was the only Western restaurant among Suzhou’s entries.

Riva entered the Black Pearl guide with one diamond in 2025 and kept its listing in the 2026 edition.
