Bánh Xèo 46A

A bánh xèo house in Tan Dinh with more than seven decades behind it and a Bib Gourmand in the 2026 guide.

The Restaurant

Bánh Xèo 46A has been feeding Tan Dinh for more than seven decades, and the Michelin Guide credits its regulars as much as its cooking. The signature is the large Vietnamese crêpe filled with mung beans, bean sprouts, pork and shrimp, eaten wrapped and dipped rather than with a fork.

Inspectors prefer the open-air tables beside the open kitchen to the air-conditioned room, which they call the more authentic way to eat here. The menu also covers a pulled chicken salad and chargrilled pork, beef, squid and prawns.

Good to Know

The restaurant holds a Bib Gourmand for good-quality, good-value cooking in the 2026 guide. It is cash only and takes bookings by phone. The Michelin listing shows unusual opening hours, so call ahead, and arrive well before closing. More places to eat are covered on the Ho Chi Minh City page.
